Hal Husrevoglu, owner of Burn in Hal, opened the popular cigar bar back in 2011 to create a space for him and his friends to enjoy cigars. Wanting a class venue, Hal drew on his engineering expertise and constructed much of the unique Edwardian inspired atmosphere himself.
“This is a destination,” Hal explains, “it’s a cigar bar that is closer to a whisky jazz club in New York City or a London Bar.”
Having resided in 7 other countries and traveled to over 50 countries, Hal has turned his space into a truly unique venue in Korea. As a social butterfly he has added malt scotch, aged rums, and live jazz performances to attract people with many interests into his swanky lounge.
“We get a healthy mix of people every night” Hal says proudly. Hal invites you to escape the busy streets of Itaewon and join his diverse crowd any night for a classy and social evening.
